Taking a Break

In the past, I've continued to publish blog posts whilst on vacation. I'd sometimes bring a laptop or a tablet, and in the evening, before settling in for the night, I'd share my thoughts and experiences of the day.

This time, I'm not doing that.

DW and I will be spending our time in Costa Rica with two of our most-beloved friends, and I don't want to be distracted with any thoughts about how I need to get out a blog post. I don't want to spend hours sorting through photos I capture through the day, editing a few, to add them to a blog post.

I want to end a day and reflect on it without putting it into words. When DW, our friends, and I are at the end of a day, I want to be able to just turn in and get a good night's rest so that I can be fresh for the next adventure.

I'll be capturing a lot of my vacation, as I always do, in still photos and video imagery. You, my dear readers, will have to wait until I return home and have a chance to sort through all that I have captured before I share it with you.
