Sorry To Disappoint

Last week, I shared my experience in being an extra for a music video by Ottawa band, Lessons In Crime. It was a lot of fun to participate in this project and it got me thinking that I'd like to try more of this work.

While I did my best to look distracted and bored during the recording of the video—I looked at my watch, cleaned my glasses with my tie, rolled my eyes, and more—I knew that much of what I did would be cut out of the video. After all, I was only an extra.

Nevertheless, it was fun and I appear a few times throughout the video, and, most importantly, the song is really good.

This weekend, I learned through front man, Liam Schwisberg, that the official video for their song, "Sorry to Disappoint," had been released. And I think the video is really good.

Both Liam and his partner in Crime, Paolo Pace, really put their all into their performances. Featured saxophonist and member of Ottawa band, The Commotions, Brian Asselin, brings a great solo to life.

There's a woman whose deadpan look cracks me up. And there are so many great extras who bring indifference to a whole new level.

Take a look:

If you like the video, hit that Thumbs Up. Share the video with others. Check out their other videos, and perhaps subscribe to their channel.

I had a lot of fun helping out, and I'd be happy to join them in another project. If they need a goofy-looking old fart, that is.

Happy Monday!
