Hog's Back 360

I've made my first 360-degree video. It's very simple, but it's a start.

This video was shot on Saturday, at Hog's Back Park. I walked on the snow-covered pathways along the falls and over the dam.

 It's three-and-a-half minutes long and involves four scenes. Post processing was performed with Insta360 Studio 2019 and Pinnacle Studio Ultimate. The music was picked from my playlist: "We Have Everything" by Young Galaxy.

I have more experimentation to do with my camera, including time shifting. Shooting the video is easy: it's the post-processing work that is the biggest challenge. Hopefully, I'll have it mastered in time for my vacation, next week.

I was originally going to turn my nose up to it. I was meeting up with some long-time friends from my journalism days at a roadhouse near IKEA, last summer, and the beer menu didn't look promising to me. There were the standard Molson Coors offerings and no local craft beer, and I was almost going to order a glass of the house red. But there was a brew that I didn't recognize and sounded Spanish, and I became curious. A Demotion

Now that the first draft of Dark Water is done, I've started looking at the story and the characters with a more critical eye. I want my eventual readers to believe that the story is plausible. For the first draft, I did a lot of Googling and asked ChatGPT a lot of questions. In roundabout ways, without sharing excerpts of scenes, I would describe scenarios that reflected the content of the story and ask the AI tool if what I described was realistic. More times than not, Chat GPT would chime in with a positive assessment of that scenario, to the extent that I thought it was a yes -bot. Its responses would be encouraging, starting with a "that's a great idea and really develops your (character/plot) well." If there was something that didn't go well, the AI tool would still give me encouragement but would offer a suggestion that would "tweak" my scenario.
