This is the last photo that I shot on my Nikon on our New England vacation. Written on the outside of the Boston Public Library, I think that one word captures the essence of our time in Cape Cod and Boston.
The kids showed spirit in jumping into the ocean for the first time. Our trip to see whales off Provincetown showed the power and spirit of those magnificent creatures. Our ability to overcome an obstacle in spite of few options shows the spirit and determination of the Brownfoots. The kindness of the people we met shows the spirit of New-England Americans. Our tour of Boston and our learning of a group who stood up to the British shows the spirit of a growing nation.
